by Maurice Girodias in 1972 for simultaneous publication in
Britain
and The United States by The Olympia Press. The novel is
graced
with a three-page introduction written especially for it by
William
S Burroughs. Though the author corrected the galleys, sadly
the book
never saw the dark of day thanks to the sudden demise of
The Olympia
Press. Consequently, William Burroughs' remarkable text,
which
throws much light on his own thinking about human sexuality,
has also
never been published. Williams Mix has been revised and
was released
on CD-Rom, with Mr Burroughs' introduction, in the
Spring
